Syncing your Desktop and Mobile accounts has never been easier! With this guide, we will show you how to sync your Medal account across your Desktop and Mobile devices.

* Important note: Only published clips will be synced to your Mobile


Syncing with Desktop


    1. You will first want to open your Desktop app and go to Settings > Account. On this page, scroll down to Connect Mobile, you should see a banner similar to this one:




    2. Click on the Get the Mobile App button and a new window should appear. From here, you have 2 options, you can put in your phone number to receive a link to download the Medal Mobile app, or use your phones app store to download the Medal Mobile app. 




       Text Message

If you enter in your phone number, you should receive a text that looks similar to this. Follow the link to download the Medal app. 


   

        App Store

Open up the app store on your phone (iOS shown here) , and search for the Medal app. Click install to download the Medal app. 

After you have downloaded the Medal app, open it up! Upon launching you will be met with this screen, you will want to select the Scan QR Code option.

Refer back to Step 2 and with your phone camera, take a picture of your QR code on your Desktop app.


Upon authentication, you should receive a Success! page and your Mobile Master profile Badge. Your Desktop app is now synced with your mobile app!

Resyncing QR Code


If you ever need to change phones or resync your account, you are able to access your QR code from the Desktop App. In your app, you will again want to head to Settings > Account and scroll down to Connect Mobile. There will be an option to Access QR Code, where you can scan on your new mobile device to sync your accounts!
