Dear Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue while attempting to install the Medal app on my PC. Despite multiple troubleshooting attempts, the installation fails to complete successfully. Below are the details of the issue:

Error Description:

  • The installation process begins but fails midway without any clear error message.
  • I have tried running the installer as an administrator, but the issue persists.
  • Antivirus and Windows Defender were temporarily disabled, but this did not resolve the problem.
  • I also cleared the Medal installation cache by deleting relevant folders in %localappdata% and AppData\Roaming, but the issue remains.

System Details:

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Medal Version: 4.984
  • Error Logs: [Attach the log file if you have one; if no specific error, mention general failure during installation.]

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  • Cleared installation cache and app data.
  • Ran the installer with administrator privileges.
  • Temporarily disabled antivirus and firewall.
  • Checked for updates on .NET Framework and C++ Redistributables (both are up-to-date).
  • Attempted to manually run Update.exe from the Medal directory, but the issue persists.
