Depending on your PC specifications, your experience with Medal may differ from system to system.
While Medal should not affect your PC's performance, it is important to remember that increasing a Clip's Resolution and/or Bitrate can also increase Medal's resource usage. The performance hit should be minimal, granted that your PC can run the game at the resolution you have chosen normally.
If you get clip or game performance issues (Laggy clips/game), try reducing your settings
Below are options we recommend when using Medal depending on the resolution you are using:

* - Clips recorded at any of these settings might be compressed on upload. Premium users can upload 1440p manually on the Desktop app.
We HIGHLY recommend setting the Video Encoder to GPU if available on your system.
