How to Uninstall Medal

But if your mind is truly set on uninstalling, we will be sad to see you go :(

We hope we will see you again in the future, so in the meantime, here is how you can uninstall Medal:

Please note: Once you uninstall Medal, you may lose any clips that were not uploaded to our cloud. You may want to save or move any clips over to your video files.

First, we need to shut down Medal. Open your System Tray, find the Medal Silver Icon and right click > Quit Medal
Next, open the Windows Start Bar and search Add or Remove programs and select it
In the new window, search for Medal in the search bar
Click on Medal and then click Uninstall

After a few seconds, Medal will disappear from your list and has been fully uninstalled.

If the app and recorder return after uninstalling it, you will need to open your Task Manager and check if there is a Medal process called Update.exe under the Startup tab.

If there is an update process there, please set it as Disabled and try uninstalling Medal again.

This should stop Medal from starting again after being uninstalled.
