Windows Media Pack is Missing: How to Resolve the Issue


If you're encountering issues with Medal recording clips, it might be due to a missing or inactive Windows Media Pack or Windows Media Player. This problem can occur on both Windows 10 N and regular Windows 10. This guide will walk you through the steps to download and install the necessary components.

Windows 10 N: Installing Windows Media Feature Pack

If you're using Windows 10 N, you will need to install the Windows Media Feature Pack. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Start Menu and type Add or remove programs.
  2. Select Optional Features.
  3. Click Add a feature.
  4. In the search bar, type Media Feature Pack, check the box, and click Install.

After the installation is complete, restart your computer.

If you're on regular Windows 10, you need to install Windows Media Player. Here’s how:
