How It Works

This feature creates a temporary Link you can freely share with your friends! Clips that are Uploaded as Expiring Links are only accessible though the user's own Library or through the Link itself, so they will not appear on your Profile at all.

Any Expiring Link will be available in your Library for 14 days after its creation. But don't worry! Medal will keep your Clip's video file on your PC so you can Post it or Share it again as many times you need!

When sharing a Private Link for the first time, an in-app tutorial guides users through the process. 

Creating an Expiring Link

To create an Expiring Link, click the Create Link button on a Clip ready for upload.

This feature also supports Edits and Montages on the Desktop app but is currently unavailable for Sessions.

Expiration Timer

Each Expiring Link has its own Expiration Timer. You can view this timer by opening the Clip in your Library, where the remaining time will be displayed.

If you need the link active for more than 14 days, click the Copy Link button to reset the expiration timer. This can be done repeatedly without restrictions.

After Expiry

Once the expiration time elapses, the clip's video file will remain on your PC unless it's manually deleted.
