Why use Watermarks?

As a creator, you can enable author watermarks on your clips. Watermarks are there for 2 reasons:

1) Protect content from our creators from being copied all over social media without given proper credit.
2) Make it easier for somebody watching your clips on other platforms to start following you on Medal.

Only creators that are subscribed to Medal's Premium service can download their clips without watermarks. Watermarks are not very intrusive, and you can even customize them!

Enabling Watermarks

To access your Watermark options, go to Settings > Advanced > Watermark

Choosing the watermark position

When you have watermarks enabled, you can choose the position they appear on your clips. You can choose to show your watermark in any corner of the clip, but by clicking the drop-down and selecting a position

This will only affect Clips uploaded after the changes have been made.

Download clips with or without a watermark

If you're working on a montage or simply don't want the watermark present, you can download with or without the Medal watermark. You can also download your clips through our website and mobile app!

Downloading your own Clips without a watermark is only available to our Premium members. Core users can still download their Clips, but with a watermark.

The video file in your PC will NEVER have a watermark; only clips that are uploaded to our servers will generate a watermark.

Downloading clips from other users without the watermark is only available if you are the original uploader of the clip. If you are not the original uploader, you can support the creator and share the video with the watermark.
