Enable Hold-to-record starts a Full Session Recording if you press and hold the clip hotkey (Default: F8) for more than one second. Useful for recording segments where you know what is going to happen. For example, from replay files, for cut scenes, or for starting a new match. If you desire to record in a particular part of the game without ending your session then this option is for you!

How It Works
To start the recording press and hold the clip hotkey (Default: F8) for more than 1 second Medal will greet you with a "Recording started". You will hear Medal's voice notifying you that your recording has started. This can last as long as you desire in your gaming session.
To end the recording, press and hold the clip hotkey (Default: F8) and the recording will stop at any point of interest during your gaming session.

Where are your Recorded Sessions Located?
You can find your session in your Library by Filtering it to Full Sessions.
How To Enable
Step 1: Onboarding Toggle
There are two ways to enable this setting! If you are new to the Medal you can find the toggle option for this feature on the onboarding screen! You can check the Hold to record box and now you can long-press your hotkey to start a long recording!
Step 2: Settings Toggle
To toggle this option as a current Medal user, go to Settings > Clips & Recording and then switch on the option "Enable Hold To Record".
