Medal offers a wide range of recording quality options so that you can capture your gameplay. You can manage your profile and linked social accounts. You can also customize the length of your mobile clips and the resolution.


Settings Page

The Settings Page is the main page for setting up the Recorder. Here, you can go to the Recorder Settings, Audio Settings, Advanced Settings, Report a bug from the app, or Join our Discord server.


Recorder Settings

  • You can set the size of the clipping bubble and its transparency.
  • You can set the clip length and the resolution.
  • Choose your Capture mode based on what you want.
    • Clipping mode or Long Recording mode.
  • Choose between the Clip's Quality or Performance.

Audio Settings

Here are all the options for the Recorder's audio settings:

  • Mic - Use your phone’s mic to capture audio, including voice and background sounds.
  • Internal - Record audio from your device.
  • Mic and Internal - Use both modes to record the audio from your device and your voice at the same time.
  • Mute - Disables all audio from recording.


In this page, you can also turn on Internal Fallback - Mic for games that lack internal audio support, or toggle the Play Clip Sound option to play a sound when a clip is initiated.


Advanced Settings

  • You will see your device ID here for support. Use this ID to report issues to the support team.
  • "Now Recording" and "Clip Saved" are device notifications when recording with the app.
