Android Recorder Settings

Medal offers a wide range of recording quality options so that you can capture your gameplay. You can manage your profile and linked social accounts. You can also customize the length of your mobile clips and the resolution.

  • Recorder
    • Video
      • You can set the size of the clipping bubble and its transparency.
      • You can set the clip length and the resolution.
      • Turn on the recorder to start clipping. If this is turned off, you won’t be able to see the clip bubble.
      • Hardware encoder fixes most of the recorder issues. Turn it on if you have issues with clipping.
    • Audio
      • Turn on "Internal" to capture the game audio.
      • Turn on "Mic" for games that lack internal audio support.
    • Advanced
      • You will see your device ID here for support. Use this ID to report issues to the support team.
      • "Now Recording" and "Clip Saved" are notifications when clipping.

Turn on Microphone to use your phone’s mic to capture audio, including background sounds.

Turn on Internal Fallback - Mic for games that lack internal audio support.

Enable or disable the Play Clip Sound option to play a sound when a clip is initiated.

Mute will disable all audio.
