Medal.tv Home Page Overview

When you open the Medal.tv app, you'll land on the Home Page, which is designed to give you quick access to content tailored for you and help you discover new clips. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll see:

1. Home Page

The Home Page is the main screen where all your relevant content is displayed. It features:

• Clips from Games and Users You've Followed: At the top of the page, you'll see clips curated for you, based on the games and users you've followed. These clips are tailored to your preferences and interests.

2. Quests

Beneath the featured clips, we have a section for small partnerships with game developers where users can win rewards using Medal while playing that game. Quests change constantly, so we recommend keeping an eye on them, as your favorite game could soon be the next partnership!

3. From Your Last Session

Under Quests, there's a section called From Your Last Session. This section displays clips from your most recent gaming sessions, allowing you to quickly revisit and enjoy your latest moments. For example, in the screenshot, we can see a Squad game session clip from three days ago.

4. Top 10 / Trending Now

Scrolling down from the last session, you’ll find a section for trending clips from a variety of popular games and users. These clips help you stay up to date with what’s trending in the gaming community.

5. Navigation Bar

At the bottom of the screen, you’ll find the Navigation Bar with the following key tabs:

1. Home Page 

   • Takes you back to this main landing page, where you can explore new clips and enjoy curated content.
   • Houses the Notifications and the Chat buttons on the top right.

2. Search

   • This is where you can search for new friends, follow other users, and search for games, Clips, and servers as well.
   • It’s a great place to expand your network within the Medal community.

3. For You Page 

   • A specific section dedicated to clips from games and users that you’ve followed.
   • It’s personalized based on your interaction with the platform.

4. Library

   • Contains your local and uploaded clips, making it easy to organize and access your content.

5. Profile

   • This is what people see when they check your account on Medal.
   • You can see your Posts, Achievements and details here.
   • Also houses the Settings button for the mobile app.

Accessing Your Profile Page on Medal.tv

When you're on the Home Page of the Medal.tv app, you can access your profile by tapping your Profile Picture located in the upper right corner of the screen.

What You Can Do on Your Profile Page

• View Your Clips 

  • Once on your profile page, you’ll be able to see all your clips, both those you’ve uploaded to Medal.tv and those stored locally on your device.Sort Your Clips

    You can sort through your clips by various categories such as:
    • Games: Organize your clips based on the game they belong to.
    • Clip Types: Filter your clips by type, whether it's content you’ve uploaded, clips you're in, or highlights from others.
    • Sort Order: You can also sort your clips by different criteria including newest, oldest, most views, or most liked, allowing you to quickly find the clips that are most relevant to you.

This allows for better management and organization of your gaming moments, ensuring you can easily access and enjoy your content at any time.

Follow, Like, Comment, and Share

	The Follow Button allows users to stay connected with their favorite creators by subscribing to their content. By following someone, users will see updates and new clips from that creator in their feed, ensuring they never miss any fresh posts or exciting gameplay moments.
	The Like Button allows users to quickly show their appreciation for a clip by tapping a heart icon. It’s an easy way to acknowledge great content and contribute to its visibility within the Medal community.
	The Comment Button lets users engage directly with the content by leaving feedback or starting conversations. This feature provides a space for users to share their thoughts, ask questions, and interact with the creator or other viewers.
	The Share Button enables users to share their favorite clips across various social platforms. With a single tap, users can share content with friends and followers, spreading epic moments beyond the Medal.tv app
