Mobile Number Verification
To import or upload clips that were not captured using Medal, you'll need to verify your account with a mobile number.
We offer the option to either send you a code via SMS or WhatsApp. Please choose what works best for you, if you don't receive a code with one of the two methods, try the other one first before creating a support ticket!
Manual Mobile Verification
If you encounter any issues from the guides below, you can create a ticket here. Please include your complete phone number with the country code as well as your Medal username and our support team will assist you.
Desktop
To verify your account on the Medal Desktop app, please go to Medal's Settings > My Account > Verify Account.
- Click on Verify Account
- Select your Country and enter your phone number
- Note: If you don't want to receive an SMS and rather get the code via WhatsApp, please click on Use WhatsApp when entering your phone number!
- Click on Send
- Once you receive the verification code, enter it on the next screen.

Android
To verify your account on Android, please make sure you have the Medal - Gaming Clips installed
- In the app, click on your Profile Picture (1.) and then click on Settings (2.)
- In the Settings, go to Profile Settings and then to Privacy.
- Under Privacy, you will find the option Verify Phone number to verify your account!

iOS
To verify your account on iOS, please make sure you have the Medal - Game Clipping installed
- In the app, click on your Profile Picture (1.) and then click on Settings (2.)
- In the Settings, go to Privacy & Safety.
- Under Privacy & Safety, you will find the option to verify your phone number!

Remove Mobile Number
To remove your phone number from your account, follow the steps below depending on your platform:
Desktop
Open the Medal Desktop app.
Go to Settings > My Account.
Under Verify Account, you’ll see your verified phone number.
Select Remove Phone Number to unlink it.
Android
Open the Medal app.
Tap your Profile Picture > Settings.
Go to Profile Settings > Privacy.
Under Privacy, select Remove Phone Number.
iOS
Open the Medal app.
Tap your Profile Picture > Settings.
Go to Privacy & Safety.
Under Privacy & Safety, select Remove Phone Number.
Troubleshooting
If you are having issues verifying your phone number, please check these fixes:
You can't perform this action this frequently
Whoa, slow down! You’ve tried verifying your number too many times. Give it a few minutes and try again.
This phone number is already in use
Looks like this number’s already taken. Use a different one, or log in to the account that’s already using it.
I'm not receiving any verification code?!
Check your number: Make sure you typed it correctly, including your country code.
Give it a minute: Sometimes SMS can take a few minutes to arrive.
Your country is not supported by us: Sadly, due to some restrictions, we are currently not supporting every country.
Here is a list with known countries, that are not supported by us:China (+86)
Iran (+98)
If you still need help with verifying your phone number, please contact support for further assistance. You MUST have a phone number in order to finish any phone verification requirements for quests.
