No discord Audio in Clips

Are you facing issues where Discord audio isn't being captured in your Medal clips? Follow this step-by-step troubleshooting guide to fix the problem. By the end, your Medal setup should seamlessly record Discord audio.


Check Discord's Output Device

To ensure Discord audio is captured, verify that the correct output device is selected:

  • Open Discord and go to Settings.
  • Select Voice & Video from the sidebar.
  • Under the Output Device dropdown menu, ensure the selected device matches the one you want Medal to capture.

Configure Medal's Audio Settings

Next, make sure Medal is configured to capture the correct audio source:

  • Open Medal and navigate to Settings.
  • Go to the Audio & Camera section.
  • Under Output Device Settings, ensure that Discord’s output device is added to the list of audio sources. If needed, you can add multiple devices.

Repair Medal

If the problem persists after configuring the settings, repair the Medal app:

  • Click on the "?" icon in Medal to open the Help & Support menu.
  • Select Start Repair and allow Medal to redownload its files.
