Icons & Clips Not Loading

Are you experiencing missing icons, profile pictures, blank thumbnails, or unplayable clips — this issue often occurs when Medal is used alongside a VPN or Cloudflare WARP. Cloudflare WARP or similar VPN services can sometimes block or reroute traffic that are essential for Medal’s assets (icons, thumbnails, video content), preventing them from loading correctly.

Common Signs & Symptoms

  • Icons or profile pictures are not appearing
  • Clips stuck and thumbnails not loading
  • Refreshing or restarting doesn’t resolve UI missing elements


Troubleshooting Methods

Make an Exception or Temporarily Disable WARP/VPN Services


Make an exception on your WARP or VPN service to allow Medal to bypass the traffic reroute. If you cannot make an exception, please try temporarily disabling your WARP or VPN service and fully restart Medal to test if all assets load normally

Note: You might need to fully restart Medal a couple of times to ensure all traffic has been cleared and that all icons/images are showing normally.



Configure Cloudflare WARP: Exclude Split Tunnel


  • Open WARP → go to Settings > Advanced

  • Enable “Exclude Split Tunnels”

  • Add the following domains/IP addresses:

    • medal.tv

    • cdn.medal.tv

    • *.medal.tv

    • 127.0.0.1 (enter as IP even though it's localhost)


This ensures Medal traffic bypasses WARP and allows proper loading.


Reload Medal

With Medal focused, press Ctrl + R to refresh the app interface and force asset reload — useful when some icons or clips may have cache issues.


Run Medal as Administrator

Right‑click Medal’s shortcut or .exe → choose Run as administrator. This ensures proper permissions and avoids potential access issues.
