Want your clips to be more exciting?  Now you can add music to your clips with SoundCloud.

We won't be the judge of what great music is. But we can definitely help you add those beats in your clips.

Adding music, will not remove the game audio, but it will definitely help make your clips more groovy.

Adding Music

Please note: Custom MP3 files that are imported are limited to 30 seconds. For help with imported files, please see here.

Open your clip you want to edit and click Music.

From here, select the genre of music you are wanting to add.

Once you have selected a song, you can edit your music via the Audio Properties window which will also help in increasing or decreasing the volume of the music in the clips.

Once you have found the song you want to add, click on the (+) to add it to your clip.

Once the song is added, you can drag the Music bar around to capture the specific part of the song you are wanting.

You can also move the Music Element on your main timeline to control the starting/stopping point of the music. If you would like to trim the length of the music, you can click on the bars at the ends and adjust the length.

And just like that you're done! Go ahead and save the edits, then upload the clip!

Sound Effects

Medal now has sound effects! Want to add a quick blurb here or there, now you can! On the same Music tab in the editor, you can click on Find a Soundbite.

To preview the sound, you can click on the "Play" button next to the one you want to hear. If you like it, you can add it with the (+) sign.
Just like the Music options, you will have an Audio Properties window to adjust the volume of the sound effect.
You can drag the sound effect element on the timeline of the clip to your desired location, and that's it!
